Orkid Gasless Swaps
Gasless = the user signs a Permit2 authorization, the Orkid solver pays gas
and executes on-chain. No native gas token (ETH, BNB) required in the
user's wallet; MEV-protected routing by default.

Discovery methods are unauthenticated. tools/call requires
X-ORKID-API-Key (free key at https://orkidlabs.xyz/partner) or x402
payment — $0.002 USDC on Base per call via EIP-3009. On PaymentRequired,
sign and retry with _meta["x402/payment"].

Below the minimum the swap still executes — the user pays gas instead of
the solver. Same-chain swaps on Polygon are paused (bridge-only).
Usage pattern
- User: "swap 50 USDC to WETH but I have no ETH for gas."
- Call
orkid_quote (from USDC, to WETH, amount "50", chain
base) — $50 ≥ $20 gasless minimum → solver-paid execution.
- Return
swapUrl to the user; they sign a Permit2 message in their
wallet — no gas token needed.
- Ethereum mainnet note: gasless requires $200+ and routes through
Flashbots Protect for MEV safety.
