Configure Langfuse webhooks to receive notifications on prompt version changes. Langfuse supports webhook events for prompt lifecycle: Created, Updated (labels/tags changed), and Deleted. Use webhooks to trigger CI/CD pipelines, sync prompts to external systems, or notify teams via Slack.

Produce an event contract for each enabled webhook: event name, payload fields used, signature-verification boundary, idempotency key, queue policy, and downstream owner. Include an operational receipt showing that the endpoint acknowledges valid deliveries quickly and rejects invalid signatures without processing the payload.
For prompt.updated, verify the signature before parsing the payload, derive a
stable key from the event identifier, enqueue that key with the prompt name,
and return a success response. The worker then fetches the approved prompt
version, runs the relevant regression test, and records the resulting
deployment decision. A duplicate delivery sees the existing idempotency key and
does not repeat the deployment.
